About Diploma in Food Production

CCHMCT offers a Diploma in Food Production. This diploma is of an eighteen-month duration and in this span, the students get to learn all everything pertinent to the Food production. From sourcing to preparation for the process and procedures involved, students get to learn it all.
The very first year is dedicated to theoretical and practical learning in the college only and after the conclusion of the same, the next six months are devoted to industrial training. The students are sent for training in the hospitality and allied services sector. Once the students have completed the training and education, they become competent to work in the industry.

Students who have passed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized educational board are eligible.

Diploma in Food Production unveils many career opportunities for the students. Upon completion of the diploma, the students can work as a cook, chef, food supplier, banquet manager, purchasing manager, or a food production director. Diploma holders also get qualified for becoming Commis in hotels, restaurants, fast-food companies, and retail kitchens. Candidates can also join aviation in Flight Kitchens as cooks/chefs/commis etc. Besides these opportunities are available in International and national fast-food chains, hospitals, Institutional catering, and Shipping and Cruise liners as well. The students also have the option of starting their own business.
